I was looking for a business analyst job in the financial sector when I found escent. I’ve been working for them for a couple of years now and during this time I could participate in several very enriching projects. I also had the chance to work with some exceptional people, including escent managers, who always demonstrated of humanity and encouraged me in my ambitions. Recently I could attend a training in business analysis that would allow me to take the IREB exam. I enjoy being part of a young but dynamic and constantly growing company where I can make good use of my studies.

After more than 5 years at Accenture in Brussels, I decided to join escent in December 2010. I was indeed attracted by the different career opportunities that were offered to me at escent. Actually, in parallel to my role of project manager at the client side, escent gave me the possibility to participate to escent’s growth by being actively involved in different internal initiatives (e.g. Marketing, HR, pre-sales…). All those activities were not familiar to me when I joined the company and I am really enthusiastic to continue discovering such new challenges during my future career at escent. I also joined escent because of the importance that they give to the worklife balance and the well-being of the escenters. In addition, the team spirit and fun atmosphere are integral parts of this company, which makes me feel great!

I decided to join escent because it was a human-sized company. I knew that, as employers, they would know, and make the most of my skill base, and strive to provide any additional training required for me to perform to the best of my abilities. This is because, in a small firm, your personal growth as a professional is in the direct interest of your employer. The firm has offered me the opportunity to complete a Master in Financial Risks Management. They have also designed a three-level training course for business analysts, which is quite popular with our clients and which every employee gets to take. I have been with escent a few years now and this job has regularly presented me with challenges that have made me grow and mature as a professional. escent is a young team, and the atmosphere within the firm is both professional and informal. You will learn a lot, but you will have fun too. I like the idea of taking part in the building of a new firm’s reputation. I am proud of every of its achievements.

I’ve been working for escent for several years and I’ve never regretted my choice. You will be able to evolve in a friendly and young working environment where young consultants will be managed and followed by experienced consultants. The 3 partners pay highly attention to the balance between the private and professional lives of their employees. The clients are various, so you will meet in most projects, people from diverse backgrounds and culture. It’s definitively a place where one can get good learning experience. Moreover escent gives the opportunity to follow a lifelong learning being via various trainings or university master degree. Personnaly, I have been certified by Sophis after a one-week training course and I have now a master degree in Financial Risk Management thanks to escent. According to me, it’s definitely a great place to work.
